As guys, we often struggle to talk about our feelings and emotions as we attempt to uphold our masculine ego. Yet alarmingly, this results in higher suicide rates in young men. The reason is that our entire world is governed by how we think and feel – we feel our thoughts, and it is argued that we are the total sum of all our experiences. Yet, for men, the inability to process feelings and emotions more effectively often leads us to low mood, anger, and despair.
Therefore, a therapy like hypnotherapy, particularly based on the FITES approach, is a great win for men all over the world. I am using this approach with people in every corner of the globe, and the results are remarkable. More recently, I even helped a man in a bunker on the frontline in Ukraine, a Dutch national who volunteered to go out there and fight. He instantly began to feel better about his situation back home and the messy divorce he was going through, which drove him to go out and risk his life in Ukraine.
